Döktaş (official name is Döktaş Dökümcülük Tic. ve San. A.Ş.) has been traded on Borsa İstanbul since 1986.
Döktaş, founded in 1973 in Bursa Orhangazi under the roof of Koç Holding, started its operations in 1977. Manisa aluminum casting and wheel facilities joined to Döktaş from the Elginkan Group in 1999.
The company, which continued its activities by being sold to Finland-based Componenta Corporation in December 2006, was transferred to Döktaş Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., which was established on September 29, 2017 as a SPV(special purpose vehicle).
On June 29, 2018, Döktaş was incorporated to Çelik Holding within the scope of Güriş Holding.
